Those imitations require obviously adequate skills, and a lot of observation work.
All the mouldings on those pannels are fake and painted. They are just the results of painted lights and shadows.
A good decorator is supposed "to do better than nature" : he must give harmony, a direction to his work, and he has to give life to his work while decorating.
Marble imitations can be painted anywhere in a room, on any surfaces.
They are protected by coats of varnish, depending on the use of the surface. |
